How to Withdraw Cryptocurrency from BitLease

Withdrawing cryptocurrency from BitLease allows you to transfer your digital assets to an external wallet address on the blockchain. This guide explains the withdrawal process and the conditions for withdrawing assets from your account.

Wallet States and Withdrawal Capabilities

FUNDING Wallet

  • Contains free, unrestricted assets.

  • Full withdrawal capability to external wallets.

  • Can also be sent to other BitLease users via BL Pay.

LTO Wallet

Assets in the LTO Wallet exist in two states:

  1. Locked Assets:

    • Bound to an active LTO contract.

    • Cannot be transferred or withdrawn.

    • Must remain until the contract reaches Full Settlement or Termination.

  2. Free Assets:

    • Released after Full Settlement or Termination.

    • Can be transferred to the FUNDING wallet.

    • Withdrawable only after being moved to the FUNDING wallet.


How to Withdraw Cryptocurrency

Step 1: Access the Withdrawal Menu

  1. Navigate to your Assets page.

  2. Locate your FUNDING wallet section.

  3. Click the Send button.


Step 2: Choose Withdrawal Method

You’ll see two withdrawal options:

  • On-Chain Withdrawal: Withdraw crypto to any external wallet via the blockchain network.

  • BL Pay: Send crypto to another BitLease user as an internal transfer.

Select On-Chain Withdrawal to withdraw to an external wallet.


Step 3: Select Cryptocurrency

Choose the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw from your available balance.

Important: Only assets with an available balance in your FUNDING wallet can be withdrawn.


Step 4: Complete Withdrawal Details

Enter the required information for your withdrawal:

  • Destination Wallet Address: The external wallet address where you want to receive funds.

  • Amount: The quantity of cryptocurrency to withdraw.


Step 5: Confirm and Submit

Review your withdrawal details carefully and submit your request.

  • All withdrawals are subject to AML/KYT compliance rules.


Transferring Assets from LTO to FUNDING

If you have Free Assets in your LTO Wallet that you want to withdraw, you must first transfer them to your FUNDING wallet:

  1. Go to your LTO Wallet.

  2. Identify assets marked as Free (not Locked).

  3. Use the internal Transfer function.

  4. Transfer Free Assets from LTO → FUNDING.

  5. Once in FUNDING, proceed with the withdrawal process as described above.

Note: Locked Assets cannot be transferred until your contract reaches Full Settlement or Termination.


Withdrawal Availability

When You CAN Withdraw:

✓ Assets are in your FUNDING wallet.
✓ Assets are marked as "Free" in your LTO wallet (after transfer to FUNDING).
✓ You have completed the full settlement of an LTO contract.
✓ You have completed the contract Termination with a positive surplus.

When You CANNOT Withdraw:

✗ Assets are Locked in an active LTO contract.
✗ Assets are still in your LTO wallet (even if Free).
✗ You haven’t transferred Free Assets from LTO to FUNDING first.


Troubleshooting Withdrawal Issues

If you encounter problems with withdrawals, refer to our Troubleshooting Withdrawal Issues guide for solutions to common problems, including:

  • "No Withdrawable Assets" error.

  • Locked assets that won’t transfer.

  • Missing withdrawal buttons.

  • Free assets that can’t be withdrawn.

  • Post-settlement withdrawal procedures.
