How to Transfer Funds on BitLease

Transferring funds between your wallets on BitLease is essential for managing your Lease-to-Own (LTO) contracts and accessing your assets. This guide walks you through the process, explains when to transfer funds, and provides tips to ensure smooth transactions.


What Are Transfers on BitLease?

BitLease uses a dual-wallet system to manage your assets:

  • FUNDING Wallet:

    • Your primary wallet for deposits, withdrawals, and funding LTO contracts.

    • All deposits start here, and funds can be transferred to the LTO Wallet for prepayments or installments.

  • LTO Wallet:

    • Activated when you open your first LTO contract.

    • Used exclusively for prepayments and installment payments.

    • Holds Locked Assets under active contracts and Free Assets that can be transferred back to the FUNDING Wallet.


When Should I Transfer Funds?

1. Funding Installments

  • Transfer funds from your FUNDING Wallet to your LTO Wallet to ensure sufficient balance for upcoming installment payments.

  • Installments are paid only from the LTO Wallet.

2. Accessing Free Assets

  • Transfer Free Assets from your LTO Wallet back to your FUNDING Wallet to:

    • Withdraw them to an external wallet.

    • Use them for other platform activities.


How to Transfer Funds

Follow these steps to transfer funds between your FUNDING and LTO Wallets:

Step 1: Open the Transfer Funds Window

  1. Log in to your BitLease account.

  2. Navigate to the ASSETS section in the main menu.

  3. Click the TRANSFER button.

    • This will open the Transfer Funds window.


Step 2: Select Transfer Direction

  1. In the Transfer Direction dropdown, choose the direction of the transfer:

    • Funding → LTO: To fund your LTO Wallet for prepayments or installments.

    • LTO → Funding: To move Free Assets back to your FUNDING Wallet.


Step 3: Enter the Transfer Amount

  1. In the Amount field, input the amount you wish to transfer.

    • The system will display the Max amount available for transfer.

  2. Use the slider bar to adjust the transfer amount if needed.


Step 4: Confirm Currency

  • Only USDT and USDC can be transferred to the LTO Wallet for prepayments.

  • Ensure you have sufficient balance in the selected currency.


Step 5: Complete the Transfer

  1. Review the transfer details, including the direction, amount, and currency.

  2. Click Transfer to initiate the transaction.

  3. A confirmation message will appear once the transfer is successful.


Important Guidelines

1. Supported Currencies

  • Only USDT and USDC can be transferred to the LTO Wallet for prepayments.

  • Ensure your FUNDING Wallet has the correct currency before initiating a transfer.

2. No Automatic Deductions

  • BitLease does not automatically transfer funds from your FUNDING Wallet to your LTO Wallet for installment payments.

  • You must manually transfer funds to your LTO Wallet before each payment due date.

3. Free Assets

  • Free Assets in your LTO Wallet can be transferred back to your FUNDING Wallet for withdrawal or other uses.

4. Transfer Fees

  • Transfers between FUNDING and LTO Wallets are processed instantly with no network fees.


Best Practices for Transfers

1. Monitor Wallet Balances

  • Regularly check your FUNDING and LTO Wallet balances to ensure you have sufficient funds for upcoming payments.

2. Plan Ahead

  • Transfer funds to your LTO Wallet well before installment due dates to avoid penalties.

3. Verify Details

  • Double-check the transfer direction, amount, and currency before confirming the transaction.


Troubleshooting Transfers

Common Issues

  • Insufficient Balance: Ensure your FUNDING Wallet has enough USDT or USDC for the transfer.

  • Transfer Errors: Check your internet connection and try again.

Immediate Actions

  1. Review your wallet balances and transaction history.

  2. Retry the transfer after resolving any issues.
