Welcome to Bitlease

Last updated on August 10, 2026

BitLease is a platform that lets you become the economic owner of a digital asset — such as Bitcoin or another supported cryptocurrency — from the day you start, while you pay for it gradually over an agreed period of time.

If you're new to BitLease, the easiest way to understand it is to compare it to a payment plan for a car or a home: you make an initial payment, you start using the thing you're paying for immediately, and you complete your payments over time until it's fully yours. BitLease brings that same idea to digital assets.

How every BitLease product works, at a high level

  1. Lease — You select a digital asset and decide how much you want to pay up front (your down payment). This opens your contract.

  2. Use — From the moment your contract begins, you hold economic ownership of the asset: gains or losses belong to you, even though formal on-chain title stays in secure custody until you finish paying.

  3. Own — Once you've completed all payments, full ownership transfers to you.

This describes Lease-to-Own (LTO), the core product you'll build from the LTO Builder shortcut on your Home screen or the LTO Deal Builder in your User Center. Related products (Lease-to-Use, Lease-to-Bundle) share the same foundation and are covered in their own sections.

Good to know:

  • BitLease is not a bank, a broker, or a lender — it does not extend credit to you. See "Is this a loan?" below.

  • The value of digital assets can rise and fall significantly and unpredictably — this is true everywhere in the market.

  • BitLease does not give investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

Digital assets are volatile, and their value can go down as well as up. Nothing on BitLease is investment advice — please read our Risk Disclosure in full before opening any contract.
